Paul P. Burghardt is an accomplished attorney with extensive experience in veterans benefits, mass torts, litigation, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions. Currently serving as the Managing Attorney at Outreach Legal, Paul has over a decade of experience in managing legal operations and providing expert counsel in various capacities. His previous roles include General Counsel, Chief Business Officer, and Board Member at several large corporations.
Paul’s legal expertise spans a wide range of areas, including VA disability benefits, mass tort, corporate compliance, ESOP law, contract negotiation, and risk management. He has also been instrumental in handling employment law and regulatory compliance matters. Paul was previously a Partner with the law firm of at Richards Brandt Miller Nelson P.C., where he led transactional and commercial litigation practices.
In addition to his legal practice, Paul has shared his expertise as an Adjunct Professor and holds a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Utah, S.J. Quinney School of Law, where he graduated in the top 10% of his class and was actively involved in the Law Review. Paul is admitted to practice law in multiple states, including Utah, Arizona, North Carolina, Washington, Wyoming, and Idaho. He earned his undergraduate degree in Business Management with a minor in Russian from Utah State University, graduating cum laude.
